Communication
At St Mary's we value open communication with our parents. We encourage you to read our fortnightly newsletter to stay informed of what is happening at St Mary's. Please see the Newsletter tab for the current newsletter.
Our Facebook and Instagram pages are also a great source of information.
Reporting to Parents
Interim Reports are sent home at the end of Term One. These reports aim to give parents an insight into how their child/ren has settled into the new year socially and academically. Parents/carers are encouraged to make contact with the class teacher if an interview is required at this stage.
Academic Reports are completed at the end of Semester 1 and Semester 2.
At the end of Term Two Learning Discussion Meetings are held involving the student, parent/carer and the teacher. We believe parent/teacher communication is critical to a successful partnership in the education of children. Parents are encouraged to meet with teachers to discuss their child/ren’s reports during the formal interview period. In addition to these formal interviews, parents are encouraged to make an appointment to speak with their child’s teacher whenever necessary. This can be arranged by contacting the class teacher.
