Representative Duties
Ellie McCormack and Marnie McCormack participated alongside 80 other Year 5 and 6 girls from NSW Catholic Schools to vie for a position as members of either the Mackillop or Polding Girls Rugby 7s team.
Their day at St Joseph’s Hunters Hill had an early start with a morning of drills, skills and training. From this they played a series of 4 games. Ellie – halfback, Marnie – centre
Ellie was then selected to participate in the Possibles and Probables game and was unsuccessful but was selected as a shadow player for the Mackillop Team.
Both girls are keen to give it another go in 2020.
