NSW Pathways Sport- UPDATE REGARDING CURRENT COVID RESTRICTIONS

As per the information from Catholic Education below, you will note that ARCHDIOCESAN ATHLETICS, SCHOOL SPORT HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS AND GOLF TRIALS ARE STILL GOING AHEAD. THEY ARE RECOGNISED AS A PATHWAY SPORT.

A pathway sport is an event that is run in order to select a representative team or individual to progress to a higher level of competition.

Primary: School – Regional – NSWCPS MacKillop – NSWPSSA – School Sport Australia

AND Individual trialists for NSWCPS MacKillop selections.

Pathway Gala days where a winning side from the day progresses through to the next round of competition. Please note that if there is a Gala Day being held that is NOT a pathway our schools are unable to attend.

Archdiocesan Athletics Carnival

The Archdiocesan Carnival will be held at the AIS on Tuesday 23 August (Week Six).

A reminder you must register your child on the CSNSW Sport Website https://csnsw.sport/help/help-guide-for-parents which will include the cost of $20.00 to be paid at the time of registration via the CSNSW website

Girls (and boys) Tournament to be held at Blackheath Golf Course on Monday, 1 August -2 divisions

1. 18 Hole Tournament - serious stuff !! Must have golf link number and a golf handicap. The tournament will also be a selection trial for the MacKillop  & Polding Golf teams to compete at the NSWPSSA State Golf Championships in September

 2. 9 Hole Tournament - a participation event for beginners from 8 years old to 13 years old. Must have own golf clubs. For prizes and kudos.

Entries close 22 July.  Prizes awarded.
